He commented "after her husband died, she lived with my parents -Walter and Nellie Humphrys - at Helland Rectory in Cornwall, for a while, and I think the picture was taken there." The picture has the portrait of Frances Humphrys (nee Henry) in the
background. Young George Humphrys lived with his aunt Mary after his mother remarried.
